about

I don't think I really want to perform this way from now on. I never intended to be an indie folk artist or anything.
Don't get me wrong - it was a good show. I'm just tired of the format.
In a way, this represents the end of an era for Bluer Murals.

I had my phone sitting discreetly on a stone about 40 feet from where I was playing (outdoors) to record what was coming from the speakers. I was lucky enough to also pick up a pretty balanced mix of the crowd, along with the conversation I had at the end by my guitar case over there (which is my favorite part of the recording). The quality suffered, but the atmosphere was picked up nicely.
